Pamplona

Next to it is the Ciudadela, the fortress and green lung of the city. Classified as one of the finest examples of Spanish Renaissance military architecture, it houses fortifications and buildings for leisure and exhibitions.

 

Not to mention its spectacular Cathedral, the General Archive of Navarre, the Church of San Nicolás and Yamaguchi Park; designed by Japanese landscapers with a mix of native species and ornaments from their own culture.
